Marie Lys, Francesca Aspromonte, Key’mon Murrah, & Jeremy Ovenden Star in Les Talens Lyriques’ 2025-26 Season

Les Talens Lyriques releases its 2025-26 season.

Lully’s “Proserpine” opens the 2025 season. Marie Lys, Véronique Gens, Olivier Gourdy, Jean-Sébastien Bou, Ambroisine Bré, Laurent Kilsby, Apolline Raï-Westphal, Nick Pritchard, Olivier Cesarini, and David Witczak make up the cast. They are joined by Chœur de Chambre de Namur led by Thibaut Lenaerts, and Les Talens Lyriques under the direction of Christophe Rousset.

Performance Date: July 5, 2025 (Festival International d’Opéra Baroque de Beaune)

Traetta’s “Ifigenia in Tauride” features Rocío Pérez, Rafal Tomkiewicz, Suzanne Jerosme, Alasdair Kent, and Karolina Bengtsson with Chœur Novo Canto. Christophe Rousset leads Les Talens Lyriques. Nicola Raab directs.

Francesca Aspromonte performs works by Legrenzi, Frescobaldi, Strozzi, Pallavicino, and others, alongside the Monteverdi Choir.

Händel’s “Messiah” stars Ana Vieira Leite, Sarah Connolly, Andrew Staples, and William Thomas. They are joined by the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists. Christophe Rousset directs.

Performance Dates: December 14, 15, 1& 16 (Rome Auditorium Parco della Musica, Milan Teatro alla Scala di Milano, & London St Martin-in-the-Fields)


Lysandre Châlon presents music by Couperin and Pignolet de Montéclair. Christophe Rousset conducts.

Lully’s “Cadmus et Hermione” is performed by Eléonore Pancrazi, Jérôme Boutillier, Marie Lys, Mathilde Ortscheidt, Thaïs Raï-Westphal, William Shelton, Abel Zamora, Bastien Rimondi, Kieran White, Antonin Rondepierre, Philippe Estèphe, Lysandre Châlon, Adrien Fournaison, and Jordann Moreau. Les Pages & Chantres, Du Centre De Musique Baroque De Versailles, and Les Talens Lyriques also perform. Fabien Armengaud and Christophe Rousset direct.

Gassmann’s “L’Opera Seria” features Pietro Spagnoli, Roberto de Candia, Petr Nekoranec, Josh Lovell, Julie Fuchs, Andrea Carroll, Serena Gamberoni, Alessio Arduini, Alberto Allegrezza, Nicholas Tamagna, and Filippo Mineccia. Christophe Rousset leads Les Talens Lyriques.

Performance Dates: February 28, March 2, 4, 7, 9, & 11, 2026 (Theater an der Wien)


Mélissa PetitAlisa Kolosova, Alasdair Kent, Rocío Pérez, and Anna El-Khashem star in Mozart’s “Ascanio in Alba.” They are joined by the Arnold Schoenberg Choir (Vienne), Jeune Chœur De Paris (Paris), Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne (Lausanne,) and Les Talens Lyriques, led by Christophe Rousset.

Michèle Bréant and Suzanne Jérosme perform in “Les Leçons de Ténèbres.” Christophe Rousset conducts.

“Handelian Heroes” features arias from “Giulio Cesare,” “Ariodante,” “Rinaldo,” “Rodrigo,” and “Serse” with Key’mon Murrah and Les Talens Lyriques. Christophe Rousset conducts.

Performance Date: May 24, 2026 (LA Opera)


Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito” stars Jeremy Ovenden, Karolina Bengtsson, Anna El-Khashem, Maite Beaumont, Ambroisine Bré, and Adrien Fournaison. Chœur du Mozartfest de Würzburg and Les Talens Lyriques are led by Christophe Rousset.

Performance Dates: June 12 & 13, 2026 (Mozartfest Kaisersaal)
