The Wiener Konzerthaus has announced its 2025-26 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances of the season.

The Constellation Choir & Orchestra under Sir John Eliot Gardiner perform Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Performance Date: Sept. 14, 2025


Fabio Luisi conducts the Wiener Symphoniker in Franz Schmidt’s “Das Buch mit sieben Siegeln.” Soloists incude Maximilian Schmitt, David Steffens, Giulia Semenzato, Catriona Morison, Patrick Grahl, and Alexander Grassauer.

Anja Mittermüller and Julian Prégardien perform Schubert with Sir András Schiff.

Performance Date: Oct. 1, 2025


Jakub Józef Orliński performs #LetsBaRock with Aleksander Dębicz, Marcin Ułanowski, and Wojciech Gumiński.

Reinoud Van Mechelen conducts a nocte temporis in music by Bach. Soloists include Lore Binon, Alex Potter, and Tomáš Král.

Raphaël Pichon conducts Pygmalion in music by Georg Daniel Speer, Adam Drese, Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Michael Bach, Philipp Heinrich Erlebach, Melchior Franck, Johann Christoph Bach, Nicolaus Bruhns, Heinrich Schütz, Philipp Heinrich Erlebach, and Johann Sebastian Bach. Soloists include Maïlys de Villoutreys, Perrine Devillers, Lucile Richardot, William Shelton, Zachary Wilder, Antonin Rondepierre, Tomáš Král, Alex Rosen, and Renaud Bres.

Ludovic Tézier and Julius Drake perform Schumann’s “Dichterliebe” as well as lieder by Duparc and Wagner.

Il Giardino d’Amore will be joined by Jakub Józef Orliński and Stefan Plewniak in music by Giovanni Alberto Ristori, Antonio Vivaldi, and Georg Friedrich Händel.

Elīna Garanča joins the Wiener Singakademie and Karel Mark Chichon for music by Johannes Brahms, Emīls Dārziņš, César Franck, Pietro Mascagni, Raimonds Pauls, and Franz Schubert. Dmytro Popov is also the soloist.

Elena Schwarz conducts the Klangforum Wien and Christoph Prégardien in music by Johannes Maria Staud.

Performance Date: Dec. 11, 2025


The Ensemble 1700 alongside, Li Piffari e le Muse, Dorothee Mields, Matthias Brandt, and Dorothee Oberlinger perform works by Arcangelo Corelli, Georg Friedrich Händel, Fanny Lewald, Alessandro Scarlatti, Giovanni Antonio Guido, and Antonio Vivaldi.

Performance Date: Dec. 15, 2025


The Wiener Symphoniker will perform Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium. Miriam Kutrowatz, Marianne Beate Kielland, Robin Tritschler, and Matthias Winckhler are the soloists, and Fabio Biondi is the conductor.

Christiane Karg, Beth Taylor, Julian Prégardien, and Alexander Grassauer perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Dima Slobodeniouk conducting the Wiener Symphoniker.

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Gustavo Gimeno and will feature works by Mahler, Kelly-Marie Murphy, and Bartók. The soloists are Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Anna Prohaska.

Pretty Yende and Anna Marchwińska perform works by Strauss, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, and Debussy.

The ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien will showcase Alina Wunderlin, Maighréad McCrann, and Ingo Metzmacher in works by Friedrich Cerha, Kurt Weill, and Alban Berg.

Semyon Bychkov conducts the Tschechische Philharmonie in a program of  music by Mendelssohn, Ravel, and Stravinsky. The soloists are Beatrice Rana, Stefanie Irányi, Martin Mitterrutzner, and Jongmin Park.

The Wiener KammerOrchester and Wiener Singakademie will be conducted by Jan Willem de Vriend. The program will include works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn with soloists Elena Villalón, Anja Mittermüller, David Fischer, and Alexander Grassauer.

Performance Dates: Feb. 28-March 1, 2026


Petr Popelka conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with Sasha Cooke as the soloist. The Wiener Symphoniker is the orchestra.

Raphaël Pichon conducts Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” with Julie Roset, Maïlys de Villoutreys, Lucile Richardot, Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian, Zachary Wilder, Julian Prégardien, Stéphane Degout, and Christian Immler.

Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 will be performed by the Wiener Philharmoniker with soloists Jacquelyn Wagner, Sarah Wegener, Ying Fang, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Tamara Mumford, Benjamin Bruns, Michael Nagy, and Tareq Nazmi. Andris Nelsons conducts.

The Orchester der J. S. Bach-Stiftung will perform Bach’s cantatas with Julia Doyle and Matthias Helm. Rudolf Lutz conducts.

Álfheiður Erla Guðmundsdóttir and Kunal Lahiry will perform lieder by Samuel Barber, Nico Muhly, Jean Sibelius, Errollyn Wallen, Judith Weir, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Lyra Pramuk, Deborah Pritchard, Joseph Haydn, Maurice Ravel, Margaret Bonds and Déodat de Séverac.

The State Choir Latvija, alongside organist Iveta Apkalna and conductor Maris Sirmai,s will perform music by Lionel Rogg, William Byrd, Benjamin Britten, Rihards Dubra, Pēteris Vasks, Johann Sebastian Bach, John Cameron, Henry Purcell, Thierry Escaich, and Henry Balfour Gardiner.

Asmik Grigorian joins the  ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien for duets and arias by Tchaikovsky, Verdi, and Puccini. Germán Olvera is the baritone and Stephan Zilias conducts.

Performance Date: June 3, 2026


Kate Lindsey and Helmut Deutsch take on the music of Robert Schumann, Hugo Wolf, Joseph Marx, Alexander Zemlinsky, and Erich Wolf Korngold.
