Nicolas Faye has been named as the next General Director of Opéra de Limoges.

He will succeed Alain Mercier in September 2027.

Faye joined the Opéra de Limoges as a General Administrator in 2010 and been Deputy General Director of the since January 2020.

Faye was selected by a jury comprising representatives from the City of Limoges, the Ministry of Culture, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, and the Haute-Vienne department, alongside two subject-matter experts and two members of the opera’s citizens’ cooperative.
