Chelsea Lehnea, Anna Bonitatibus, Jeanine De Bique, Stéphane Degout, Samuel Hasselhorn & Lea Desandre Lead Opéra de Rouen’s 2025-26 Season

The Opéra de Rouen Normandie has announced its 2025-26 season.

Opera

Chelsea Lehnea, Leonardo Sanchez, and Anthony Clark Evans lead Verdi’s “La Traviata.” Dayner Tafur-Diaz conducts the production by Jean-François Sivadier. The opera will be livestreamed on Oct. 4, 2025.

Performance Dates: Sept. 26-Oct. 7, 2025


Elsa Benoit and Samuel Hasselhorn lead Brahms’ Deutsche Requiem. Laurence Equilbey conducts the production by David Bobée.

Performance Dates: Nov 4-7, 2025


Galuppi’s “L’Uomo Femina” will star Eva Zaïcik, Lucile Richardot, Victoire Bunel, Victor Sicard, François Rougier, and Anas Seguin. Vincent Dumestre conducts the production by Agnès Jaoui.  

Performance Dates: Dec. 18 & 19, 2025


Alexandre Duhamel, Peter Kellner, Miina-Liisa Värelä, Julian Hubbard, Héloïse Mas, and Robert Lewis star in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer.” Ben Glassberg conducts the production by Marie-Ève Signeyrole.

Ben Glassberg conducts Tchaikovsky’s “Iolanta” with Mané Galoyan, Ilia Kazakov, Stéphane Degout, and Bogdan Volkov.

Anna Bonitatibus leads Handel’s “Agrippina” with Jake Arditti, Lauranne Oliva, Matthew Brook, Paul-Antoine Benos-Djian, Paul Figuier, Michael Mofidian, and Nicolas Brooymans. David Bates conducts the production by Robert Carsen.

Leonardo García Alarcón conducts “Amore Siciliano” with Ana Vieira Leite, Mariana Flores, Léo Fernique, Valerio Contaldo, and Matteo Bellotto.

Evgeny Sviridov and Jeanine De Bique perform Lully, Campra, Rameau, Desmarest, Blow, H. Purcell, Pepusch, Haendel, D. Purcell, Legrenzi, Sarro, Zelenka, Porsile, and Adolfati.

Samuel Hasselhorn performs Schubert’s “Winterreise” with Naaman Sluchin, Tristan Benveniste, Agathe Blondel, and Guillaume Effler.

Sébastien Daucé and Lucile Richardot perform alongside Ensemble Correspondances in music by Franz Tunder, David Pohle, Christian Geist, Giuseppe Peranda, Vincenzo Albrici, Johann Christoph Bach, Christian Ritter, Sebastian Knüpfer, Johann Philipp Krieger, and Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer.

Julien Chauvin conducts Le Concert de la Loge in music by Francesco Geminiani, Georg Friedrich Haendel, Antonio Vivaldi, Giovanni Bononcini, and Carl Heinrich Graun. Chloé Lechat directs, and Julie Roset and Adèle Charvet are the soloists.

Antony Hermus conducts Mahler’s “Das Lied von der Erde” with Nicky Spence and Beth Taylor. The program also includes music by Julia Wolfe.

Christophe Rousset conducts Atsushi Sakai, Déborah Cachet, Suzanne Jerosme, and Les Talens Lyriques in music by Couperin.

Christina Pluhar leads a program entitled “Wonder Women,” featuring Céline Scheen, Luciana Mancini, Benedetta Mazzucato, and Vincenzo Cappezzuto.

Swann van Rechem conducts “Turandot, énigmes au musée” based on Puccini’s work. Andrea Bernard directs a cast that includes Irina Stopina, Olivier Gourdy, Charlotte Bonnet, Carlos Reynoso, Jiwon Song, and Yu Shao.

Lauranne Oliva will perform music by Giacomo Facco, Giuseppe Antonio Brescianello, Georg Friedrich Haendel, and Antonio Vivaldi alongside Fabrice Rousson, Naaman Sluchin, Walczak-Le Sauder, Elena Chesneau, Patrick Dussart, Anaël Rousseau, Gwendal Etrillard, and Frédéric Hernandez.

Rinaldo Alessandrini and Sara Mingardo perform Vivaldi’s “Nisi Dominus; Salve Regina.”
