Philippe Jaroussky, Adèle Charvet, Fabio Trümpy, & Elsa Benoit Among Performers in La Seine Musicale’s 2025-26 Season

La Seine Musicale unveils its 2025-26 season.

The Season Launch Concert features members of the Jaroussky Academy, along with Philippe Jaroussky. They are joined by instrumentalists Nemanja Radulovic, Anne Gastinel, and Cédric Tiberghien.

Performance Date: September 19, 2025 


The Appassionato Choir performs in Fauré ‘s “Requiem.” Mathieu Herzog conducts the Appassionato Orchestra.

Performance Date: November 15, 2025


A concert version of Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” is up next. Adèle Charvet, Perrine Devillers, Jean-Christophe Lanièce, Igor Bouin, Caroline Meng, Fernando Escalona Melendez, and Marie Théoleyre are among soloists. The Harmonic Poem, choir and orchestra is conducted by Vincent Dumestre

The Purcell Choir with the Orfeo Orchestra present Cantatas by Bach and Telemann. György Vashegyi, conducts.

Performance Date: December 7, 2025


Magnificat” by C.P.E. Bach and the “Coronation Mass” by Mozart is performed by soloists Sandrine Piau, Rose Naggar-Tremblay, Fabio Trümpy, and Alexander Grassauer. They are joined by the accentus choirs and Insula orchestra led by Laurence Equilbey.

Performance Dates: December 12 & 13, 2025


The Jaroussky Academy presents a chamber music concert featuring the work of Schubert. They are joined by Stéphane Degout, with instrumentalists Nemanja Radulovic, Anne Gastinel, and Tanguy de Williencourt.

Performance Date: December 19, 2025


Elsa Benoit and John Brancy serve as soloists in Brahms’ “A German Requiem.” Laurence Equilbey conducts the Insula orchestra. David Bobée is the staging director.

Performance Dates: January 15, 17, & 18, 2026


The accentus choir under the direction of Kaspars Putniņš present works by Brahms and Schumann.

Performance Date: February 11, 2026


Núria Rial, Anna Lucia Richter, Werner Güra, and the accentus and Monteverdi Choir perform in Bach’s “Mass” in B minor. Laurence Equilbey conducts the Insula orchestra.

Performance Dates: March 26 & 27, 2026


Mathieu Herzog and the Appassionato Orchestra present “Do you find it classical? Puccini’s ‘Tosca.'” The “not-so-classical concert format” aims to introduce the audience to classical music hits and the anecdotes behind their creation in a 1 hour and 15 minute presentation.

Performance Date: May 30, 2026 


Philippe Jaroussky and the Jaroussky Academy present “The Grand Concert” with instrumentalists Nemanja Radulovic, Anne Gastinel, and Cédric Tiberghien.

Performance Date: June 19, 2026


Closing out the season is a special performance of Beethoven’s “Ninth” in collaboration with the Language Education Center for Hearing-Impaired Children. During the “Hymn to Joy” the Paris University Choir and Lamoureux Orchestra are joined by a choir of Deaf or hard of hearing children who will participate in sign language. Guillaume Connesson serves as choirmaster.
