Simon Keenlyside, Christine Goerke & Elsa Benoit Lead LA Philharmonic’s 2024-25 Season

The LA Philharmonic has announced its 2024-25 season. Here are the vocal performances.

Zubin Mehta will conduct Schoenberg’s “Gurrelieder” with Christine Goerke, Brandon Jovanovich, Violeta Urmana, and Gerhard Siegel.

Performance Date: Dec. 13 & 15, 2024

Gustavo Dudamel and Simon Keenlyside perform in an all-Mayler program that includes Blumine, Symphony No. 10: Adagio, and Des Knaben Wunderhorn.

Performance Dates: Feb. 20-23, 2025

Gustavo Dudamel and Sasha Cooke perform an all-Mahler program that includes Five Songs and Symphony No. 5.

Performance Dates: March 6-9, 2025

Emmanuelle Haïm conducts music by Händel and Bach with soloists Emöke Baráth, Eva Zaicik, Iestyn Davies, Lunga Eric Hallam, and Krešimir Stražanac.

Performance Dates: March 21-23, 2025

Emmanuelle Haïm conducts works by Händel and Rameau with soloists Elsa Benoit and Eric Ferring.

Performance Date: March 25, 2025

Händel’s “The Triumph of Time and Disillusion” will be conducted by Emmanuelle Haïm and star Elsa Benoit, Julia Lezhneva, Iestyn Davies, and Ian Koziara.

Performance Date: March 27, 2025

Gustavo Dudamel conducts Carlos Simin’s “Requiem” and music by Leonard Bernstein and Florence Price. The concert will include soloists violinist Randall Goosby and tenor Zebulon Ellis.

Performance Dates: April 17 & 18, 2025

Daníel Bjarnason conducts music by Czernowin and Bjarnason.

Performance Date: April 29, 2025
