French mezzo-soprano Adèle Charvet has joined the Intermusica roster for worldwide general management.

Charvet is an acclaimed mezzo who this season makes her role debut as the title role “Ariodante” for the Opera national du Rhin, Strasbourg, and performs the role of “Carmen” in a new production at the Opéra royal de Versailles. She also makes her role debut as Charlotte in “Werther” with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra.

The mezzo has performed with the Opéra royal de Versailles, Berlioz Festival, Salzburg Festival, Berliner Festspiele, Dutch National Opera, Royal Opera, Verbier Festival, Opéra national de Bordeaux and BBC Proms.

Her repertoire includes the works of Berg, Rossini, Humperdinck, Borodin, Bizet, Gounod, Massenet, and Debussy, among others.

The mezzo recorded her debut album, “Long Time Ago,” featuring American and English songs with pianist Susan Manoff, for Alpha Classics in 2019. She is an exclusive recording artist with the label.
