La Seine Musicale Unveils 2024-25 Season

La Seine Musicale has unveiled its 2024-25 season.

First up is a program featuring the Académie Jaroussky. The showcase, which spotlights the work of Lili and Nadia Boulanger, will feature the participation of Philippe Jaroussky alongside violinist Nemanja Radulovic, cellist Anne Gastinel, and pianist Cédric Tiberghien. other artists on the program include soprano Margaux Poguet, soprano Deborah Salazar, soprano Thaïs Raï-Westphal, tenor Abel Zamora, and baritone Max Latarjet, among others.  In addition to works by Boulanger, the program also features the works of Henri Duparc, Amy Beach, Fauré, Ysaÿe, Chopin, Dobrinka Tabakova, Wagner, Shostakovich, and Strauss.

Performance Date: Sept. 18, 2024

There will be a concert featuring excerpts from Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” led by Mathieu Herzog.

Performance Date: Nov. 16, 2024

Váckav Luks leads Collegium Vocale 104 and Collegium 1704 in Mozart and Zelenka’s Requiems. Soloists include Krystian Adam, Veronika Rovaná, Margherita Sala, and Kresimir Strazanac.

Performance Date: Nov. 17, 2024

Soprano Viktoriija Kaminskate leads a Wagner and Berlioz program conducted by Sébastien Rouland. The showcase also features the Orchestre National de la Sarre.

Marc Minkowski leads Les Musiciens du Louvre in excerpts from Bizet operas. Adèle Charvet and Qunetin Desgeorges are the soloists.

Camille Delaforge leads Ensemble Il Carvaggio in “Histoires Sacrées.” Vocal soloists include Appolline Raï-Westphal, Anna Reinhold, and Laura Jarrell. The program includes works by Purcell, Ferrandini, and Charpentier.

Performance Date: March 8, 2025

Julie Roset, Ana Quintans, Mathias Vidal, and Andreas Wolf are the soloists of “Les Indes Galantes.” Leonardo García Alarcon leads the production.

Performance Date: May 21 & 22, 2025

Anaïs Bertrand headlines “Carmen” alongside Martial Pauliat, Kaelig Boché, and Jean-Christohe Lanièce. Jeanne Desoubeaux leads the production which will be music directed by Jérémie Arcache and Igor Bouin.

Performance Date: June 13 & 15, 2025

Igor Bouin and Jean-Christophe Laièce headline “Don Quichotte,” an adaptation of Massenet’s famed work. Jeanne Desoubeaux directs.

Performance Date: June 14, 2025
