The Philharmonie de Paris has announced a cast change for its Verdi Requiem on Oct. 4, 2024. The company said that Iwona Sobotka will sing the soprano role replacing the originally announced Juliana Grigoryan. CHORALSPACE is set to present “Verdi’s Requiem XXL,” featuring a 1,000-person choir. Soprano Iwona Sobotka, mezzo-soprano Alexandra Urquiola, tenor Andrés Moreno García, and bass Gerard Farreras serve as soloists in Verdi’s Requiem.
