Opéra de Paris to Present ‘Un Ballo in Maschera’ in Cinemas with Anna Netrebko, Matthew Polenzani & Ludovic Tézier

The Opéra National de Paris is set to present “Un Ballo in Maschera” in cinemas on Feb. 8, 2026.
The opera, which will be presented in a production by Gilbert Deflo, will star Anna Netrebko (Amelia), Matthew Polenzani (Riccardo), Ludovic Tézier (Renato), Sara Blanch (Oscar), and Elizabeth DeShong (Ulrica). Speranza Scapucci conducts.
The opera will be shown in cinemas across France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. The opera will also be available for streaming at a later date on Paris Opera Play, the Paris Opera’s streaming website.
The production will be recorded on Feb. 5 and 8, 2026 and will be produced by the Opéra national de Paris with the support of the Orange Foundation, sponsor of the Paris Opera’s audiovisual broadcasts.
