Klangvokal Music Festival Dortmund announces its 2025 lineup.
Soprano Maria Agresta and tenor Martin Muehle perform opera classics from Verdi to Puccini in the Italian opera gala. Carlo Montanaro conducts the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen.

Works by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and those who inspired his writing are performed by the vocal ensemble Stile Antico.

Angelo Villari, Pretty Yende, Gabriele Viviani, Carlos Cardoso, George Andguladze, Anton Kuzenok, and Verena Kronbichler make up the cast of Verdi’s “Stiffelio.” They perform with the WDR Radio Choir and WDR Radio House Orchestra. Lorenzo Passerini conducts.

Tiburtina Ensemble’s concert features works that reflects the influences of Emperor Charles IV and Charlemagne on Czech culture. Soprano and medieval harpist Barbora Kabátková directs.

George Frideric Handel’s “Poro” stars Max Emanuel Cencic in the title role. Julia Lezhneva, Rémy Brès-Feuillet, Hugo Hymas, Lucile Richardot, and Timothy Edlin round out the cast. Martyna Pastuszka directs the {oh!} Orkiestra.

Performances by the Philharmonic Choir of the Dortmund Music Association, University Choir of the TU Dortmund, Youth Concert Choir of the Chorakademie Dortmund, Vocal Crew, Chamber Choir of the HfM Detmold, and the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra close the festival. Anne Kohler directs.
