The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has revealed two upcoming showcases for fall 2025.

First up, on Oct. 23, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kaplan Penthouse, the organization will pay homage to pianist Gilbert Kalish with “Gilbert Kalish at 90,” a program curated by the artist himself.

The showcase, which includes works by Brahms and Webern, will also be headlined by soprano Tony Arnold, who takes on Schoenberg’s “Pierrot Lunaire.”

We attempt to trace, in a very basic way,” notes Kalish, per an official press release, “the path from German Romanticism to the wild, expressionistic world of this seminal work.”

Kalish and Arnold will perform alongside Erin Keefe (violin/viola), Nicholas Canellakis (cello), Tara Helen O’Connor (flute/piccolo), and Jose Franch-Ballester (clarinet/bass clarinet).

Then,  on Nov. 6, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rose Studio, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will feature “Sonic Spectrum I: World & NY Premieres for Voice and Ensemble.”

This program will be headlined by mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron, pianist Gloria Chien, and clarinetist Anthony McGill in works by Valerie Coleman, Takashi Yoshimatsu, Chen Yi, Huang Ruo, and Kian Ravaei. Also on the program is the world premiere of Coleman’s new work for mezzo-soprano, clarinet, and piano, co-commissioned by Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, among other works.
