The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center is set to present a recital featuring Matthew Polenzani.

The concert will be held on Nov. 9 at Alice Tully Hall and will feature Polenzani performing his first-ever Schubert’s Schwanengesang, with pianist Ken Noda.

The collection of 14 songs was written at the end of Schubert’s life and published after his death. This is only the third time in CMS history that this song cycle has been performed in Alice Tully Hall.

The second half of the concert is devoted to Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet, dedicated to his wife Clara. The quintet will be performed by Gloria Chien, Sean Lee, Richard Lin, Milena Pájaro-van de Stadt, and Nicholas Canellakis.

This season Polenzani is set to perform at the Hungarian State Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Grand Teatre del Liceu, and Washington National Opera, among others.
