MasterVoices Unveils 2025-26 Season

MasterVoices has unveiled its 2025-26 season.

The season opens with “ARCH” at the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. The installation opera by Kaleider will be directed by Seth Honnor. The opera will touch “audiences with themes of death, renewal, and hope, ARCH points towards the extraordinary, yet flawed, systems humans create: language, economies, architectures, democracies – and, inevitably, to the impact of these systems on our ecosystem and ourselves.”

Performance Dates: Sept. 6 & 7, 2025


Next up is “Ivesiade” on Little Island. The event, curated by and starring Jeremy Denk and Conor Hanick, features a wide range of works by Charles Ives. Also on the program are Nathan Meltzer, Coleman Izkoff, and the Queer Big Apple Corps marching band.

Performance Dates: Sept. 13, 2025


Ted Sperling directs and conducts Marvin Hamlsich’s “Sweet Smell of Success” starring Raúl Esparza and Lizzy McAlpine.

Performance Dates: Nov. 21 & 22, 2025


In 2026, the company presents “Sins and Grace.” Ted Sperling leads “SEVEN: A Cycle of Sins” which features seven composing teams. Also on the program is Fauré’s “Requiem in D minor.”

Performance Dates: March 23 & 24, 2026
