National Kaoshiung Centre for the Arts (Weiwuying) Announces 2025-26 Season

The National Kaoshiung Centre for the Arts has announced the line up taking place at the Weiwuying Opera House for the 2025-26 season.
André Bauer Cannabas, Vince Wolfsteiner, Brendan Gunnell, Sylvia Hanwach, Geng Li, Thomas Thomasson, Wu Hanwei, Heike Visers, and Weng Ruopei star in Wagner’s “Lohengrin.” Lai Enyu, Jian Zhengyu, Hu Tingwei, Cheng Youxuan, Li Shiyu, He Xinping, Li Xinying, Wei Tong, and the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus round out the cast. Sabina Hartmann directs and Jian Wenbin conducts the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra.

The Chunmei Opera Troupe presents Chunmei Opera Company’s “Forget River.”
Performance Dates: September 20 & 21, 2025
Soprano Jiang Qizhen and baritone Zeng Wenyi solo in Nielsen’s “Symphony” No. 3, “The Vast.” They are joined by the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra lead by Shui Lan.
Performance Date: March 20, 2026
