Toronto Symphony Orchestra Announces European Tour

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra has announced a European tour. The tour will happen between Jan. 27 and Feb. 9, 2026, and will see the orchestra in Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Austria.

Here is a look at the vocal programs.

Concert Programs

Spain 

Gustavo Gimeno and Anna Prohaska perform music by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Rufus Wainwright, Haydn, and Mahler.

Performance Date: Jan. 28, 2026 at the Auditorio Nacional de Música, Madrid

Gustavo Gimeno conducts Bruce Liu and Anna Prohaska in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.

Performance Date: Jan. 30, 2026 at the Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona

The Netherlands

Gustavo Gimeno conducts Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Christina Landshamer in a program that includes Kelly-Marie Murphy’s “Curiosity, Genius, and the Search for Petula Clark,” Bartók’s Violin Concerto No. 1, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.

Performance Date: Feb. 3, 2026 at the Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam

Germany

Gustavo Gimeno conducts the same program from the Netherlands with Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Christina Landshamer.

Performance Date: Feb. 5, 2026 at the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg

Austria

Gustavo Gimeno concludes the tour with Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Anna Prohaska in music by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Bartók, and Mahler.

Performance Date: Feb. 9, 2026 at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Vienna
