Julie Roset, Lauren Snouffer & Saimir Pirgu Lead Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s 2025-26 Season

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2025-26 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances of the season.

The season opens with Gustavo Gimeno conducting Orff’s Carmina Burana and Winston Marsalis” Concerto for Orchestra. The soloists include Julie Roset, Andrew Haji, and Sean Michael Plumb.

Performance Dates: Sept. 18-21, 2025

Michael Francis conducts Händel’s “Messiah” with soloists Lauren Snouffer, Susan Platts, Anthony León, and Gerald Finley.

Performance Dates: Dec. 16-21, 2025

Stephanie Childress and Daniel Okulitch join forces for a concert that includes Britten’s Simple Symphony, Vaughan Williams’s Songs of Travel, and Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 “Spring.”

Performance Dates: May 9 & 10, 2026

Gustavo Gimeno conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Ambur Braid, Ema Nikolovska, Saimir Pirgu, and Jongmin Park.

Performance Dates: June 11-14, 2026
