Théâtre des Champs-Elysées Appoints New General Director

The Théâtre des Champs-Elysées has announced a new General Director.

The company said that Baptiste Charoing will succeed Michel Franck starting in 2025.

Charroing is the current director of production and distribution at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris. He first started working with the company in 2020 and is a trained violist.

Charroing notably participated in the creation of La Chambre Philharmonique – Emmanuel Krivine and also works with the planning of the musical season of the Bouffes du Nord, as well as productions on tour with Gustav Leonhardt, François-Xavier Roth, Carl Craig. He also founded, in 2006, the ensemble Les Dissonances with the violinist David Grimal.

He has previously worked with the Palazzetto Bru Zane and founded the company BCM Conseil in 2008.
