Composer Felix Jarrar will feature a concert of his works on May 28, 2019 at the City Winery NYC.

The concert, entitled “The Vocal Music of Felix Jarrar at The Loft,” will feature a number of artists that the composer has worked with in the past including Sara Lin Yoder, Eugenia Forteza, Rebecca Richardson, Petra Jarrar, Julia Taylor, Savannah Greene, Inbal Milliger, Allison Gish, Brady DelVecchio, Maria Zollo, Marques Hollie, Chad Kranak, Scott Bromschwig, Angky Budiardjono, and Javier Ortiz.

The concert will kick off with a number of different songs from “The Unsleeping Ones,” “Songs of the Soul Beams,” and “The Ulster County Songbook.”

Then the composer will showcase some music from “A Christmas Carol (libretto written by Bea Goodwin),” followed by arias and ensembles from his new opera “Mother Goose.”

The second half of the program will feature other songs, including “Eclipse” and “Songs of the Sea,” with a set of pieces from his opera “Tabula Rasa (libretto written by Bea Goodwin)” closing it all out.
