The Dallas Opera to Broadcast 2024-25 Mainstage Productions on WRR 101.1 FM

The Dallas Opera will begin broadcasting its 2024-25 season mainstage productions on WRR 101.1 FM’s Concert Hall program.

All broadcasts were performed live and recorded during the 2024-25 season.

First up, on Aug. 25, is “La traviata,” with soprano Yaritza Véliz and tenor Javier Camarena. Iván López Reynoso is the guest conductor. This is followed by “Pelleas and Melisande” on Sept. 8. Ludovic Morlot guest conducts baritone Edward Nelson, soprano Lauren Snouffer, and baritone Nicolas Courjal. Emmanuel Villaume conducts “Orpheus and Eurydice” starring countertenor Hugh Cutting and soprano Madison Leonard. This broadcast is set for Sept. 22. Closing out the run is “La bohème,” conducted by Emmanuel Villaume. Tenor Bekhzod Davronov, soprano Sylvia D’Eramo, baritone Takaoki Onishi, and soprano Emily Pogorelc are among the cast.

Broadcasts will take place on WRR 101.1 FM, every other Monday at 8 pm (UTC/GMT -5 hours).
