The Crossing Announces Additional Programming for June 2026

The Crossing concludes its 21st season with additional programming.

This article only includes newly announced events.

“The Month of Moderns 1,” presented by ArtPhilly as part of the What Now: 2026 Festival, features a world premiere by Nicole Lizée, along with works David Lang, Shara Nova, Julia Wolfe, Michael Gordon, Edie Hill, Caroline Shaw, and Gabriel Jackson.

Performance Dates: June 6  & 7, 2026


“A Hundred Years On” by Peter Boyer and Mark Campbell is performed with The Philadelphia Orchestra.

Performance Date: June 17, 2026


“The Months of Moderns 2,” also presented as part of the What Now: 2026 Festival, includes a world premiere by  Nathalie Joachim with Thomas Mesa. The concert also features works by Jennifer Higdon, Kile Smith, Robert Maggio, Julia Wolfe, James Primosch, Benjamin C.S. Boyle, and Tyshawn Sorey.
