The Dallas Opera Elects Three New Board Members

The Dallas Opera‘s Board of Directors and Trustees has announced the election of three new Board of Directors members.

The company said that it elected a professional painter and longtime supporter of TDO, Carole Silverman who was active in the former Dallas Opera Guild and has been a company Trustee since 2016.

Additionally, other elected Maisie Heiken, who worked with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and who serves on boards and advisory councils for the Mayo Clinic, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and its Foundation, the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, and the University of Texas at Dallas.

Finally, former HF Sinclair Corporation President, CEO, and Chairman Michael Jennings was added to the board. He is currently a director of SunocoCorp LLC and serves on several corporate boards, and is a longtime TDO Inner Circle member and donor.

Additionally, four new members were added to the Board of Trustees: Patricia Crocker, John Gilbert, Lousie Hallam, and Deidria “DeeDee” Redic. They join fellow new Trustees, Vanessa Cain and Belinda Hancock, who were elected earlier this season. Three honorary Board of Directors members were also announced: C.H. Moore, Marla Muns, and Stephen Sands.
