The American Opera Project has released the first of its “First Glimpse” video series.

Between Oct. 23 and Nov. 27, the company will unveil a video album of 20 songs during the first year of its 2019-21 cycle of “Composers & the Voice.”

All videos are available for rent on a single video or entire series basis.

The “First Glimpse” series will feature composers Alaina Ferris, Matt Frey, Michael Lanci, Mary Prescott, Jessica Rudman, and Tony Solitro as well as librettists Amanda Hollander and Jonathan Douglas Turner.

The singers include sopranos Justine Aronson and Jasmine Muhammad, mezzo-soprano Augusta Caso; tenor Timothy Stoddard; baritone Mario Diaz-Moresco, and bass-baritone Brandon Coleman.

Music directors for the project include Mila Henry, Kelly Horsted, Lisa Edwards, and Spencer Myers with the production teams led by Chris Comfort, Misja van den Burg, TinNgai Chan, and Dave Bennett.
