Teatro dell’Opera di Roma Announces Cast Changes for ‘Tosca’
By David SalazarThe Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has announced a cast change for its production of “Tosca.”
The company revealed that Gevorg Hakobyan will take on the role in rotation with Daniel Luis de Vicente. Haboykan will take on the role on Jan. 14-16, and 18 while de Vicente will get the showcases the showcase 19th. Haboykan appears alongside Saioa Hernández and Gregory Kunde for most of the run but appears alongside Anastasia Bartoli and Vncenzo Costanzo on the 17th; Bartoli and Costanzo also perform alongside de Vicente on the 19th.
Michele Mariotti conducts the Jan. 14 and 16 showcases, while Francesco Ivan Ciampa takes the podium for the Jan. 17-19 performances.
The production by Alessandro Talevi also features Luciano Leoni as Angelotti, Domenico Colaianni as Sacristan, Saviero Fiore as Spoletta, and Leo Paul Chariot and Marco Severin alternating as Sciarrone.
