
Suntory Hall to Present Annual ‘Messiah’

The masterwork will be performed by the internationally renowned baroque ensemble and choir Bach Collegium Japan (BCJ), which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
BCJ’s founder and music director, Masaaki Suzuki, will conduct the work with acclaimed soloists British soprano Joanne Lunn, American countertenor Reginald Mobley, tenor Jun Suzuki, and baritone Takaoki Onishi.
The “Messiah” is presented annually and is a tradition that the organization initiated in 2001.
