The Staatsoper Hamburg has announced a schedule change for its” The Art Of.”

The company said that on May 5, 2023, Thomas Hampson will be performing for Bryn Terfel and Terfel’s performance in Hamburg will take place in one of the next seasons and will be announced at a later date.

Hampson is set to perform at the Opera de Paris in a production of “Nixon in China” and is set to perform at the Latvian Opera, Mahler Festival, and Verbier, among others.

The Staatsoper Hamburg is in the midst of productions of “Tosca,” “Lucia di Lammermoor,” and “Il Trittico.” The company recently announced a new music director.
