‘Rock Me Amadeus’ to World Premiere in Tampa, Florida

The David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida is set to present the world premiere of “Rock Me Amadeus – Live.”

The showcase, set for Jan.21, 2024, will feature soprano Alyson Cambridge, tenor Victor Ryan Robertson,  and rock guitar virtuoso / composer Tony Bruno, among others. Eric Sean Fogel conducts.

The work features a wide range of music from Led Zeppelin, Sting, Journey, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, and Nirvana, interweaved with works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Puccini.

“After years of hard work and perseverance, we cannot be more thrilled to finally bring our vision to life and officially introduce Rock Me Amadeus – Live! to the world! And we have such an amazingly talented group of artists that have shared this journey with us,” Cambridge said in an official press statement. “We are ready to rock!”
