Renée Richardson, Diego Torre, Won Whi Choi & Amanda Batista Lead Minnesota Opera’s 2025-26 Season

The Minnesota Opera has announced its 2025-26 season.

Kylie Kreucher, Kara Morgan, Ángel Vargas, David Wolfe, John Mburu, and Lindsay Ohse star in Mozart’s “Così fan tutte.” Christopher Franklin conducts the production by Doug Scholz-Carlson.

Performance Dates: Nov. 1-9, 2026

B.E. Boykin and Harrison David Rivers’ “My Name is Florence” is set to make its world premiere starring Renée Richardson, Deborah Nansteel, Flora Hawk, John Mburu, and Kara Morgan. Mario Antonio Marra conducts the production by Eboni Adams.

Performance Dates: Jan. 31-Feb. 8, 2026

Puccini’s “Edgar” will be performed in concert with Diego Torre, Karin Wolverton, Kara Morgan, Thomas Glass, and John Mburu. Christopher Franklin conducts the rare work.

Performance Dates: April 17 & 19, 2026

The season closes with Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci” starring Won Whi Choi, Amanda Batista, Reginald Smith, Jr., and David Wolfe. Christopher Franklin conducts the production by Brenna Corner.

Performance Dates: May 9-16, 2026
