By David Salazar

Tenor Diego Torre has joined the roster of Quintana Artist Management for North American representation.

The tenor was a member of the Domingo-Thornton Young Artist program at Los Angeles Opera, where he had the opportunity to debut as Don José in “Carmen.” He also performed at Wolf Trap Opera and at the Met Opera in 2009-10 for performances of “Aida” and “Stiffelio.” His credits also include performances at San Francisco Opera, Savonlinna Opera Festival, and Opera Australia.

“I am incredibly excited about this partnership with Quintana Artist Management,” Torre said in an official press release. “QAM is an agency of exceptional quality, with both human and professional values. May it be a fruitful and long-lasting relationship.”

“Mr. Torre is a world-class artist whose technique and interpretive skills have been honed over more than a decade of experience performing the most prominent leading roles in the tenor repertoire in Australia and abroad, so it’s uniquely exciting to have the opportunity to promote and represent him here in North America,” added Bob Quintana, President of Quintana Artist Management.
