Rai to Broadcast ‘Bianca e Falliero’ from Rossini Opera Festival

Rai5 is set to present Rossini’s “Bianca e Falliero” from the Rossini Opera Festival.

The opera will be presented on August 7 and later on RaiCultura.

The production by Jean-Louis Grinda will be conducted by Roberto Abbado and will star Nicolo Donini, Dmitry Korchak, Giorgi Manoshvili, Aya Wakizono, Jessica Pratt, Carmen Buendia, Claudio Zazzaro, and Dangelo Diaz.

Rai Radio 3 will also present “Bianca e Falliero,” “L’equivoco stravagante,” “Ermione,” and “Il barbiere di Siviglia.”

Additionally, OperaVision is set to present “Viaggio a Reims” on August 16 starring students from the Accademia Rossiniana, and will be available for six months.

The Rossini Opera Festival is set to open on August 7 and is set to run through August 23, 2024.
