
Orchestra of St. Luke to Perform ‘Bach’s St John Passion’ at Carnegie Hall
By Francisco SalazarCarnegie Hall is set to present the Orchestra of St. Luke’s on April 10, 2025.
The concert will feature J. S. Bach’s “St. John Passion” at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.
Bernard Labadie will conduct a cast that includes Andrew Haji as the Evangelist, Philippe Sly as Jesus, Joélle Harvey, Hugh Cutting, Samuel Boden, William Thomas, and La Chapelle de Québec.
It will mark Labadie’s completion of the cycle of major Bach choral works performed across New York.
This concert will be made possible, in part, by an endowment fund for choral music established by S. Donald Sussman in memory of Judith Arron and Robert Shaw.
