Opus 3 Artists is teaming up with Lamling Group for a new creative alliance aimed at creating a unique business model in the classical music world.

“I’m thrilled about this new alliance with my longtime colleagues at Opus 3,” said Lamling Group Founder and Principal Amy Lam in an official press statement. “Innovative thinking is what got our field through the pandemic, and increasingly, artist managements and presenters are working even more closely to further the goals of producing and presenting creative programming, engaging new audiences, and advancing the field in a financially viable way. This new partnership meets the moment and reflects how our field continues to evolve. I look forward to making these meaningful connections happen with this unique partnership.”

Per the release, the new partnership would focus on presenting and commissioning opportunities that allow artists to create and collaborate more broadly, while also allowing presenters new resources. The organizations will focus on “artistic programming for arts centers or presentation series; long-range artistic and business planning; project and production management, including commissioning and interdisciplinary program support; and advising and coaching emerging artistic and executive leaders in the field.”

Lamling Group is a performing arts consultancy founded by Amy Lam, who led the artistic planning and administration at the Celebrity Series of Boston.

Opus 3 Artists’ roster includes such singers as Colin Ainsworth, Sor Thomas Allen, Vanessa Becerra, Stephanie Blythe, Ian Bostridge, Nicholas Brownlee, William Burden, Chanticleer, Anna Christy, Andriana Chuchman, Kidon Choi, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Christine Goerke, Joshua Guerrero, Leah Hawkins, Nathan Gunn, John Holiday, Brian Jagde, Christian Van Horn, Daniela Mack, Tamara Mumford, Patricia Racette, Taylor Raven Morris Robinson, and Francesca Zambello.
