Opera Orlando Names New Marketing & Communications Coordinators

Opera Orlando has announced two new additions to its team.

The company has named Javier Rivera as Marketing and Advertising Coordinator with Maya Wilson taking on the role of Communications Coordinator.

A graduate of the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, Rivera joins the company after working with such organizations as Westfield Productions LLC, PRLinks Communications, International Book Fair & Ediciones Puerto, and Produccions Copelar.

Meanwhile Wilson’s experience includes work with WUSA-TV, LAFFAPALOOZA!, LLC, BET, ASTARNOMICAL, and Public Relations Student Society of America. She has a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from Georgetown University and is also a gradudate of Hampton University.

“For someone who’s had Opera training growing up and has a passion for Digital Marketing, this new opportunity for me as the Communications Coordinator at Opera Orlando gives me the best of both worlds,” Wilson told OperaWire. “I hope to help implement strategies in the most engaging and creative manner that increases brand awareness for this organization, not just citywide, but nationwide! I also hope that my efforts are able to build a sense of community for Opera Orlando online and offline as well.”
