Opera Orlando Announces Second Annual ‘Operazzi Bash’

By David Salazar

Opera Orlando will present its second annual “Operazzi Bash” on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the DeVos Family Room at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando.

Themed “Under a Thousand Blossoms” and inspired by the company’s upcoming MainStage production of Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly,” the fundraising gala benefits Opera Orlando’s education and outreach programs, including the Youth Company, Apprentice Artists, and Studio Artists programs.

The evening will feature performances by members of the Opera Orlando Youth Company and Studio Artists, hosted by Grammy Award-winning baritone and Opera Orlando General Director Gabriel Preisser.

The event is chaired by Opera Orlando patron Dr. Francelis Gonzalez and organized by the Aria Circle committee.

Last year’s inaugural “Operazzi Bash” raised $80,000 for the company’s education programs.
