The New Choral Society is set to present “An Evening Among the Stars” on Sept. 28, 2023 at the Scarsdale Golf Club in New York.

The showcase will honor the organization’s long-running partnership with the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. To that effect, the performance will feature performances by current and former Lindemann artists including. soprano Magdalena Kuźma, tenor Jonghyun Park, baritone Daniel Rich, and alumna Tamara Mumford. They will be joined by pianist Juan José Lázaro.

“It has been such a pleasure to promote the opera superstars of tomorrow over the past 30 years. The Lindemann program has been so cooperative and it’s truly been our privilege to be associated with the prestigious program,” said Dr. John T. King, the New Choral Society’s Artistic Director, in an official press statement.

The New Choral Society has worked with the Lindemann Young Artists Program since 1994 when it launched with a performance of “Messiah.” On that occasion soprano Anita Johnson was hired as a soloist for the showcase.
