New Camerata Opera has announced the “United We Sing” concert on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019.

The concert, which will feature such artists as Barbara Porto, Eva Parr, Nicole Leone, Erik Bagger, Victor Khodadad, Scott Lindroth, Stan Lacy, Shawn Farrar, Charles Temkey, April Lindevald, and Angela Dinkelman Shan, is in partnership with the Congregationalist Church of Manhasset and is part of the organization’s Concerts for a Cause.

“One hundred percent of all donations received will go to benefit Sandy Hook Promise, a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities,” said a statement on New Camerata Opera’s Facebook page. “Gun violence touches every town in America. For too long, change has been thwarted by the Washington gun lobby and by leaders who refuse to take common-sense steps that will save lives”

In addition to this performance, New Camerata Opera is gearing up for a production of “The Rape of Lucretia,” which will be directed by Bea Goodwin.
