
Natalia Labourdette & Victoria Guerrero to Present Recital Honoring Tomás Bretón
By David SalazarSoprano Natalia Labourdette and pianist Victoria Guerrero will present a recital honoring composer Tomás Bretón at the Ateneo de Madrid on June 14, 2026.
The program, titled “A Tomás Bretón,” will serve as the launch concert for the duo’s new recording, “Tomás Bretón: Songs & Piano Trios.” The recital includes the song cycle “Seis poesías de Bécquer,” settings of poems by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, alongside “Désir” and “La castañera.” The concert is part of the Ateneo’s Salón del Ateneo chamber music series and will be presented by Antoni Colomer.
Labourdette and Guerrero have performed together since their 2019 debut at the Schubertiada de Valdegovía, appearing at festivals including Música d’Estiu en Menorca and the Festival Internationales Liedkonzert in Berlin. The June 14 performance opens a tour that will continue to Seville, Granada, Vigo, and Jerez.
