The Music Academy has announced its 2025 Music Note Gala: An Evening of Inspiration Under the Stars to Support Music Education.

The showcase is set for July 11, 2025, at 5 p.m. at the Upper Lawn of the Montecito Club and will feature performances by the Sing! children’s choir, mandolin player Chris Thile, the Academy Gala Orchestra, and conductor Daniela Candillari. The showcase features music by Bach, Carolina Shaw, and the Punch Brothers.

From across the globe, they come to the Academy for unparalleled education and performance opportunities within the gorgeous setting of Santa Barbara,” said Shauna Quill, President & CEO of the Music Academy, per an official press release. “Music education transforms lives—not just for the students, but for the global communities they go on to inspire. That’s why we’re equally proud to support our Sing! children’s choir, fostering the next generation of musicians and music lovers right here in our community.”

The gala is essential for financing the student scholarships for the Academy’s Summer Music Festival & School.
