Soprano Meredith Wohlgemuth has joined Opus 3 for general management.

Wohlgemuth will be managed by Trevor Newman and Nathan Wentworth in New York.

The soprano is a 2023 Grand Prize Winner of The Met’s Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition and has performed as a member of the ensemble at Staatsoper Hannover for two seasons. She has performed in such operas as “Der Rosenkavalier,” “Satyagraha,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “I Capuleti e i Montecchi,” “Hänsel und Gretel,” and “L’elisir d’amore.”

She is a winner of the 2023 Internationaler Schubert LiedDuo-Wettbewerb in Dortmund and the 2022 Concours musical international de Montréal.

This season, Wohlgemuth will make her debut with Seattle Opera, New Orleans Opera, Tiroler Festspiele Erl, and The Cleveland Orchestra. She also joins the roster of The Metropolitan Opera.
