Karita Mattila has joined Opus 3 Artists for worldwide general management. She will be represented by Senior Vice President Nathan Wentworth.

In a statement, Nathan Wentworth said, “We are honored to welcome Karita Mattila to Opus 3 Artists. She is a transformative presence on the world stage—an artist of extraordinary integrity, intelligence, and power. It is a privilege to partner with her in this next chapter.”

Mattila is one of the great sopranos of her generation, who is known for an expansive repertoire of Mozart, Wagner, Strauss, Janáček, and Verdi as well as contemporary works.

Mattila is a recipient of the Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Pro Finlandia Medal of the Order of the Lion of Finland, and a Grammy winner. She has also performed at such houses as The Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Opéra national de Paris, and the Salzburg Festival.
