The Choral Arts Society of Washington has announced its 43rd annual Holiday Concert and Gala to take place on Dec. 18 at The Kennedy Center Concert Hall.

Marie Bucoy-Calavan leads the program, “O Night Divine!” It will feature Christmas favorites like “Sleigh Ride,” “Silent Night,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” as well as the world premiere of a new carol by Dominick DiOrio commissioned by Choral Arts. Another installment of “O Night Divine!” is set for Dec. 24 at 2pm.

After the concert, gala ticket holders are welcomed upstairs to the Kennedy Center’s Roof Terrace for a reception, silent auction, dinner, and dancing with live entertainment by “Round Midnight.” The Gala Chairs for the event are Anne Hatfield Weir, Andrea Hatfield and Heidi Hatfield.

In addition, Choral Arts presents two performances of “A Family Christmas” on Dec. 16 and 24 at 11am at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Bucoy-Calavan also conducts the family-friendly, sing-along show.
