The Ebell of Los Angeles and Pacific Opera Project will present “Cantadoras y Compositoras: An afternoon of Latin American Art Song and Arias.”

Set for Oct. 13, 2025, the showcase will feature soprano Maria Brea and mezzo-soprano Jessica Gonzalez-Rodriguez alongside pianist Mercedes Juan Musotto as they take on works by Carla Lucero, Mariel Mayz, and Maria Grever, among others.

Brea has recently performed with Opera San José, Village Opera, UN Symphony Orchestra, and Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra. This coming season, she has engagements with Arizona Opera, Notre Dame University, PianoForete Studios, Opera in Williamsburg, and State Theatre New Jersey, among others.

Gonzalez-Rodriguez has performed with Opera San Jose, Opera Santa Barbara, Lyric Opera of Orange County, and the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia, among others.
