Joyce DiDonato, Isabel Leonard, Renée Fleming, Juan Diego Flórez, Lise Davidsen Headline Carnegie Hall’s 2025-26 Season

Carnegie Hall has announced its 2025-26 season.

“With every season, Carnegie Hall seeks to offer audiences a panoramic view of the world’s leading artists and ensembles with every performance promising to be something truly extraordinary,” said Clive Gillinson, Executive and Artistic Director of Carnegie Hall, in an official press release. “Looking to 2025–2026, we’re especially excited about our next festival exploration, celebrating the distinctive sounds of American music that have captured audiences all over the world. We’re especially grateful to our Perspectives and Debs artists for the exceptional series they have curated for Carnegie Hall audiences. With many wonderful concerts in the months ahead—ranging from early music to new works by some of the most distinguished composers today—we know it will be another great year of musical discovery.”

Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

Baritone Matthias Goerne and pianist Daniil Trifonov will present Schubert’s “Die schöne Müllerin.

Performance Date: Oct. 19, 2025

Paavo Järvi leads the Estonian Festival Orchestra in an Arvo Pärt program that also features the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

Performance Date: Oct. 23, 2025

The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, under Tõnu Kalijuste, will present an Arvo Pärt program.

Performance Date: Oct. 24, 2025

Benjamin Appl and James Baillieu will present a recital of works by Schubert, Weber, Grothe, Britten, Barber, Reimann, and Sinding, among others.

Performance Date: Oct. 28, 2025

Soprano Lucy Fitz Gibbon headlines a performance alongside the American Composers Orchestra, under Mélisse Brunet. The program features works by Raven Chacon, Tamar Muskal, Elijah Daniel Smith, Mazz Swift, and Aaron Israel Levin.

Performance Date: Oct. 29, 2025

Raphaël Pichon leads the Orchestra of St. Luke’s in a performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, among other works. Soloists include Liv Redpath, Beth Taylor, Alex Rosen, and Laurence Kilsby.

Performance Date: Nov. 6, 2025

Vocal artists Céline Scheen, Luciana Mancini, Benedetta Mazzucato, and Vincenzo Capezzuto join L’Arpeggiata and its Artistic Director Christina Pluhar in “Wonder Women,” a program of works by such composers as Strozzi, Murcia, Leonarda, and Bembo, among others.

Performance Date: Nov. 20, 2025

Mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsay and pianist Baptiste Trotignon perform “Thousands of Miles,” a recital consisting of works by Weill, Korngold, Alma Mahler, and Zemlinsky, among others.

Performance Date: Dec. 2, 2025

Günther Groissböck and Julius Drake deliver a recital of works by Schumann, Rott, Strauss, Bruckner, and Mahler.

Performance Date: Dec. 7, 2025

The New York Pops presents “A Place Called Home,” which features Essential Voices USA.

Performance Date: Dec. 19 & 20, 2025

Erin Morley performs alongside the Met Orchestra Chamber Ensemble. The program features works by Schubert, Mozart, and Messiaen.

Performance Date: Jan. 12, 2026

Isabel Leonard presents a four-concert perspective series. As part of that showcase, she will perform in recital with Nadine Sierra.

Performance Date: Jan. 15, 2026

Franz Welser-Möst leads The Cleveland Orchestra in Verdi’s Requiem with Asmik Grigorian, Deniz Uzun, Joshua Guerrero, and Tareq Nazmi as the soloists.

Performance Date: Jan. 20, 2026

Soprano Axelle Fanyo and Julius Drake perform a recital of works by Schönberg, Cage, Bolcolm, and Messiaen.

Performance Date: Jan. 28, 2026

Bass-baritone Davóne Tines headlines “What is Your Hand In This,” a concert featuring works by Eastman, Dickinson, Carr, Händel, and Otis, among others. He is joined by the ensemble Ruckus.

Performance Date: Jan. 30, 2026

Isabel Leonard will also appear alongside The Met Orchestra and conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin in a Dawson, Bernstein, and Barber program.

Performance Date: Feb. 4, 2026

Iván Fischer leads the Budapest Festival Orchestra in Mahler’s Symphony No. 3.

Performance Date: Feb. 7, 2026

Joyce DiDonato and Time for Three will present Kevin Puts’ “No Prisoner Be.”

Performance Date: Feb. 19, 2026

Juan Diego Flórez will present a Rossini, Verdi, Gounod, and Donizetti recital.

Performance Date: Feb. 22, 2026

Yannick Nézet-Séguin will lead the Met Orchestra Chamber Ensemble in a Caroline Shaw, Beach, Barber, and Adams program. The soprano soloist will be announced at a later date.

Performance Date: March 1, 2026

Joyce DiDonato and Ying Fang will perform in Mahler’s Second Symphony, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Performance Date: March 10, 2026

Karen Slack headlines a concert alongside the American Composers Orchestra that features works by Phillips Jr., Kite, Shelley Washington, Jessie Montgomery, and Brittany J. Green.

Performance Date: March 11, 2026

Jarrett Ott and Kunal Lahiry present works by Ravel, Copland, Schubert, Hailstork, Weston, Jasmine Barnes, Stewart, and Huang Ruo, among others.

Performance Date: March 31, 2026

Andris Nelsons leads the Boston Symphony Orchestra in music by John Adams and Dvorak. Renée Fleming and Thomas Hampson headline the showcase.

Performance Date: April 9, 2026

Jordi Savall leads Hespèrion XXI and La Capella Reial de Catalunya in a performance of works by Fernandes, Rameau, Ginés, Zéspedes, and Mudarra, among others. Vocal soloists include Maria Juliana Linhares, Yannis François, Sekouba Bambino, Sylvie Henry, and Ballaké Sissoko.

Performance Date: April 14, 2026

Gianandrea Noseda leads the National Symphony Orchestra in Puccino’s “Il Triticco” with a cast showcasing Erika Grimaldi, Agnieszka Rehlis, Jonathan Tetelman, Roman Burdenko, and Misha Kiria.

Performance Date: May 3, 2026

There will be a 50th-anniversary Concert of the Century featuring NYO-USA All-Stars such as Renée Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, Isabel Leonard, the Oratorio Society of New York, Kent Tritle, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, among many others.

Performance Date: May 5, 2026

Bach and Telemann Cantatas take centerstage courtesy of the Handel and Haydn Society under Jonathan Cohen. Robin Johannsen, Christopher Lowrey, Guy Cutting, and Dingle Yandell will be the vocal soloists.

Lise Davidsen and James Baillieu present an all-Schubert program.
