Hélène Brunet, Philippe Gagné, Jeffrey Thompson, & William Kraushaar Appear in Inaugural Burlington Baroque Festival
By Afton WootenBurlington Baroque, a new musical organization founded and directed by Eric Milnes, has announced the first annual Burlington Baroque Festival, featuring the Montréal-based period instrument orchestra, L’Harmonie des saisons and the Burlington Baroque Festival Singers.
For the purposes of this article only classical vocal concerts are included. All concerts take place at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Burlington, Vermont.
Ellen Torrie, Rebecca Dowd Lekx, Nicholas Burns, Philippe Gagné, Jeffrey Thompson, Sumner Thompson, William Kraushaar, and Clayton Kennedy are featured singers in Claudio Monteverdi’s “Vespers of 1610.”

A concert performance of George Frideric Handel’s “Acis & Galatea,” a masque in two acts, features soloists Hélène Brunet, Philippe Gagné, Jeffrey Thompson, William Kraushaar, and the Burlington Baroque Festival Singers.
