Finger Lakes Opera has announced its fall engagement tour.

The showcase features five artists performing John Davies’ “The Billy Goats Gruff” in schools, daycare centers, elder care homes, and other venues throughout the Monroe and Ontario communities.

The program runs from Oct. 21 through Nov. 1.

“FLO’s hope is to break down barriers that often surround the opera artform. By presenting a familiar story in a fun and playful format, FLO makes opera more accessible,” FLO Executive Director Elizabeth Long said in an official press release.

Additionally, the artists will present two recitals open to the public including “BRAVO NIGHTS!” on Oct. 20, 2024 at The Little Café, and “OPERA & ALE” on Nov. 1, 2024 at the Heroes Brewing Company.

Performers for the tour include soprano Jessica Moss, mezzo-soprano Kaswanna Kanyinda, tenor Conor Brereton, and baritone Steven Groth.
