Knoxville Opera announces its 2026-27 season.

The “Opera Under the Stars” series brings opera, musical theatre, and familiar favorites to the Augusta Quarry.

Performance Dates: July 23, Aug. 27, & Sept. 24, 2026

The Knoxville Opera Salon Series, which takes place throughout the season, is presented in partnership with the historic Eugenia Williams House.

Performance Dates: Sept. 3 & 5, 2026

Strauss II’s “Die Fledermaus” features Emily Margevic, Brian James Myer, Rachel Blaustein, Julius Ahn, Philip Schneider, Andrew Wilkowske, and Kira Dills-Desurra. Dean Anthony directs and Noam Aviel conducts.

Performance Dates: Oct. 23 & 25, 2026

Knoxville Opera’s “Voices of Valor Concert” honors the America’s military community, featuring the Military Voices of East Tennessee chorus alongside Knoxville Opera artists and guest ensembles.

Performance Date: Nov. 8, 2026

Judith Yan conducts Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly” starring Karen Chia-ling Ho, Kristen Choi, John Pickle, Richard Ollarsaba, Julius Ahn, and Zizhao Wang. Dean Anthony directs.

Performance Dates: Jan. 29 & 31, 2027

The “Rossini Festival” returns with live entertainment across four outdoor stages.

Performance Dates: April 17 & 18, 2027
