‘Knoxville Opera Goes to Church’ Set for 15th Anniversary Performance

The concert, which kicks off at 5 p.m. local time at New Covenant Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN, will feature such soloists as Evelyn Jack, Michael Rodgers, Tori Franklin, and John Overholt. They are joined by the Knoxville Opera Gospel Choir for the 15th anniversary performance of this specific program.
The company’s 2024-25 season is in full swing and will feature performances of “La Bohème” in early 2025 as well as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in the spring. Concluding the season is a production of “Stuck Elevator.”
