Coro Allegro’s 2026-27 season has been announced.

The season opens with the Boston premiere of Andrew Yee’s “Trans Requiem” with soprano Breanna Sinclairé and tenor Sam Crosby-Schmidt as soloists. Yee also performs on the cello. Ola Gjeilo’s “Sunrise Mass” is also on the program.

Performance Date: Nov. 22, 2026

“Enduring Echoes” features Robert Stern’s “Shofar, “Five Mystical Songs” by Vaughan Williams, and “Nänie” by Brahms. Soprano Teresa Wakim, tenor Jonas Budris, baritones James Demler and Ian Pomerantz, and the New England Classical Singers join Coro Allegro.

Performance Date: March 14, 2027

The final concert of the season includes the world premiere of “Through the Four Chambers” by Ilyas Iliya, “Infinite Fraternity” by Charles Fussell, “What Do You Think I Fought for at Omaha Beach?” by Melissa Dunphy, “My Heart Be Brave” by Marques L. A. Garrett, and Howard Hanson’s “Song of Democracy.”

Performance Date: May 26, 2027
