Columbus Symphony Launches CSOKids.org
By David SalazarThe Columbus Symphony has announced the launch of CSOkids.org, an interactive website for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, their families and educators.
The site lets young users explore instruments, meet composers, play music games and submit their own artwork. Licensed Ohio educators created the content, which is aligned with Ohio Standards for Learning. The Columbus design studio Between State developed the platform in partnership with the orchestra.
“One of the most exciting things about CSOkids is that we can bring children directly into the world of the Columbus Symphony,” said Meghan McDevitt, Vice President of Education at the Columbus Symphony, per an official press release. “They can hear our musicians, explore the instruments they play, discover composers and pieces, and make connections between what they experience online and what they hear in the concert hall. We see CSOkids as a living resource that will continue to grow with our young audiences.”
The launch comes during the orchestra’s 75th anniversary season, which kicks off on Oct. 23, 2026 with a showcase starring Davóne Tines.
