Benjamin Appl to Headline Performance as Part of The People’s Symphony’s ‘Salomon Series’

Baritone Benjamin Appl will headline a performance as part of The People’s Symphony’s Salomon series in 2024-25.

The showcase, scheduled for Town Hall in New York City, will feature Appl alongside pianist Shai Wosner as they pay tribute to legendary singer Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau on the occasion of his centenary. The program will include works by Schubert as well as the U.S. premiere of a work by David Lang written for Appl.

The program is set to take place on Feb. 16, 2025 starting at 2 p.m.

Appl is currently engaged in a series of performances in Würzberg with ensuing stops in Bergamo, Brescia, Leverkusen, Istanbul, Siegburg, and Lausanne, among many others.
